A designer bag will upgrade anybody outfits. Take advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (which is going on right now) or Saks Fifth Avenue final sale to snag your favorite designer bag at half price, you won’t regret it. These sales happen every year just be patient.

When buying shoes and handbags try to get them in a neutral color so you can mix and match with any of your outfits. Tjmaxx is a budget-friendly store, where you can also find designer bags and shoes at great prices.

Another great store that can keep you under budget is Norstrom Rack, one of my favorite stores. They have clearance events every 2 months. You can find brands like Rebecca Minkoff , Kate Spade New York, ValentinoTory Burch, Huter and Ugg at affordable prices.

Accessories will also update your wardrobe. Save up and invest on trendy jewelry, a Michael Kors watch or Karen walker sunglasses.

Built your wardrobe by buying clothes that you can wear all year round. You should have at least the following basic pieces: a little black dress, a white blouse, a pair of casual flats, a pair of classic jeans, a denim jacket, a pains of boots, a trench coat.

Compare prices across stores before investing your money.

Use apps to find sales and deals. I use the hunt and shopular ( I love them).
